Fitness Challenge: Day 2 – Rain on My Parade

I made it through Day 2 pretty well. Did my Juice 2 a Day again. Julianne made a great “orange” juice with carrots, celery, small Orange sweet peppers and oranges.

For lunch I had a tasty Green juice made from celery, kale, pears, kiwi and apples. I wasn’t really hungry all day!!

Lexington was deluged by rain storms most of the afternoon. I ended up walking for 22 minutes in Kroger as we shopped. I walked fast and took the long way around the aisles…but certainly NOT 3 miles. I think the GPS on the app got messed up by the lightening and rain. It was weird….

This was my “Walk Report” for today. Must have been a cell tower glitch. The steps and time are right…distance certainly isn’t!!


I am glad I found a way to walk and then we had a hearty dinner shortly after we got home. We had a nice bean and leftover jambalaya burrito dinner with green salsa, salad and broccoli. It was yummy.

Dinner of Burritos and broccoli. Burrito was made with leftover jambalaya as well as fat free refried beans and some other things. Topped with fresh green salsa and avocado. YUM!
