Some Recent “Bountiful” meals

Last week was Bountiful Baskets week and we got to make some pretty yummy dishes as a result. 

We finally stoked up out Big Green Egg grill and made a luscious meal which included grilled asparagus, grilled fingerling potatoes, and grilled pineapple. We also made a nice salad using large carrots and large daikon radishes mixed with some sesame oil and sesame seeds. Very tasty! 

All of the vegetables and fruits used in this dinner came from our Bountiful Baskets. 


Our dinner the very next evening included more grilled asparagus, and also a nice couscous salad which included some vegetables from our baskets. Along with that we enjoyed a very tasty small melon that melted in our mouth. This too was part of our produce from Bountiful Baskets.

These meals both proved to be yummy, but also colorful and healthy.
