Starting a new routine – Weight Loss Matters

Beginning today and every Tuesday for the next 10 weeks and maybe longer, I am going to be taking a class/group session for weight-loss called Weight-Loss Matters which is sponsored by the University of Kentucky. Hopefully this will give me some further accountability and help me to stay focused especially since I kind of fizzled out on a routine.

Julianne and I watched a video about it over the weekend, and it’s not necessarily focused on a vegan type of lifestyle, but I think that we will be able to adapt. I need to be more focused on that as well, if for anything else, for my health.

Since mid-October my weight has gradually creeped up and I am now back at 435. So, I need to get back at it! I was on my way to under 400.  Gonna get there before March!!!

Lose It!

As part of the accountability, the program requires a journal of all we eat and the exercise we do.  I am going to use Lose It! to accomplish this and will try to record things religiously.

We’ll see how it goes!
