Week 1 is over – Results are in

Well, week one of the 21 Day Kickstart has ended. Admittedly, I did not follow it as stringently as I should have. I did stay vegan all week (except for the bout with the Chipotle sauce at Taco Bell). But I did have some high fat and/or high calorie foods.

I weighed in at 451.6 this morning. That was a 5.2 pound loss this week. I am disappointed that I didn’t go under 450. But, I would have had I stayed the stricter course.

This morning I have started off with a good breakfast comprised of mixed cereals – Grape Nuts, Fiber One, Muesli and Shredded Wheat – topped off with slivered almonds, fresh strawberries and bananas and doused with Almond Milk and a bit of turbinado sugar.


We travel to Louisville today, so hopefully we can find a place to make a good food choice.

Now, off on a morning walk in today’s 60 degree January morning here in Kentucky.

This WILL be a better week!!

A 5.2 pound weight loss is awesome David! Why be disappointed? We’ll get better at this, but you’re doing great. I’m proud of you!
